Blythewood, South Carolina · 29016
Blythewood: new slabs off 21, and the ranches that still hide plywood.
29016 is split the same way Lexington is — except the new houses are newer, and the old ones still have carpet over a soft patch.

The houses
Subdivisions off Highway 21: open plans, builder LVP that is already peaking at the slider. Langford and the older 29016 ranches: carpet in the hall, vinyl in the kitchen, a water-heater leak nobody framed after. Killian sits on the edge of the core.
What actually fails
New-build callbacks here are expansion and bad reducers, not joists. Older ranches are the opposite: we pull carpet and find a patch that was never screwed. We do not glue a 2mm peel-and-stick over that and put our name on it.
Jobs we take in Blythewood
Builder-LVP replacement
Acclimate a real wear-layer plank, leave the gap the first crew skipped, terminate into a reducer that belongs there.
Ranch carpet pull
Hall and living on the same plane as the kitchen. If the plywood is soft we stop and show you.
Slider and sunroom floors
West light plus a slab is where cheap vinyl cups. Waterproof core, and we talk about the gap at the door.

29016 is core. North of Blythewood toward the county line is a travel job — we say that before we drive it, not after.
Walkthrough
Blythewood on the calendar
New-build vs. ranch changes the hour count. Have the year of the house ready. We will not bid a 2019 slab like a 1978 ranch.
